According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is working on signing more talent from Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide to full-time deals and securing them work visas in the United States.
Currently, El Hijo del Vikingo is the only regular star from AAA who has a full-time contract with WWE. The company aims to sign more talent from AAA, focusing on those who have been featured prominently on television.
The report mentions Pimpinela Escarlata as one of the many talents WWE is interested in signing. Additionally, they are looking at signing Forastero and Sanson, who are related to Cuatrero. Last year, Cuatrero was charged with attempted femicide following an incident in which he allegedly assaulted and attempted to strangle his then-girlfriend, Stephanie Vaquer, who is now part of WWE. Sanson is Cuatrero’s brother, and Forastero is his cousin.
Both talents have not been utilized significantly since WWE acquired AAA. According to the report, while WWE is looking to sign Forastero, they are not necessarily interested in signing Sanson at this time.
