The Bad Ass Construction Worker who got shoved by Matt Riddle isn’t backing down — he’s loading up for round two.
After footage surfaced from the March 1, 2026 Boca Raton Championship Wrestling event showing Riddle walking up mid-match and shoving him at ringside, the self-proclaimed “Bad Ass Construction Worker” has now posted a fiery response — and it’s anything but calm. In a new video, he mocks Riddle and accuses him of hiding behind the barricade after taking a shot at him.
“Hi, I’m McGriddle and I’m a fing bitch. I gotta cheap shot people and then back up behind barricades because I’m a little fi*ckng pussy.”
He claims he wasn’t even provoking Riddle in that moment and says he was caught off guard by the shove.
“I was probably clapping the whole time. I don’t remember because I was assaulted for literal no reason. Probably was cheering for you, bud. Felt bad.”
The rant didn’t stop there. He took personal jabs at Riddle’s intelligence and wrestling ability, insisting he had actually been ready to let the situation go — until the physical contact happened. And then came the warning.
“I was gonna bury the hatchet and let bygones be bygones… I was gonna forgive you for being a loser. But guess what, dude, it ain’t over.”
“Now you want to cheap shot me? Yeah, f** you McGriddle. I’m gonna troll the f*** out of you the rest of your life, bud. So yeah, maybe I’ll show up to some more shows and boo you.”*
The original altercation showed Riddle approaching the barricade during his match and shoving the construction worker directly in the head after days of online trash talk. Now the viral personality is threatening to keep following him to events.
