South Africa won the first Test comprehensively by 7 wickets in Mirpur to take a 1-0 lead in the2-match series. Another victory here and not only would they win the series, but would also make major gains on the World Test Championship (WTC) points table. A loss here can lead to massive dent to the Proteas’ hopes of reaching the WTC finals.
On the other hand, Bangladesh will be trying their best to level the series in the second Test which is set to be played here in Chattogram. Bangladesh is pretty much out from the WTC finals race so their main objective will be to spoil the party for South Africa and avoid losing the Test series at home.
