Barcelona flop wants Chelsea to be Premier League side.

According to Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph, Joao Félix has been offered to Chelsea for the upcoming season. This follows the collapse of Chelsea’s £34.5 million move for Atlético Madrid’s Samu Omorodion, despite both clubs agreeing on the fee.

ESPN reports that Félix’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is now negotiating with Chelsea about a possible transfer. Félix has struggled at Atlético Madrid since his high-profile £113 million move from SL Benfica in 2019.

Joao Félix’s  Loan Spell

Joao Félix, who previously had a loan spell at Chelsea, is eager to return after scoring four goals in 20 appearances. He’s been offered to the club again following the failed £34.5 million move for Samu Omorodion. Félix has struggled at Barcelona and made just one appearance for Atlético Madrid this year, with five years left on his contract.

Joao Félix, a Portuguese forward, had a notable loan spell at Chelsea during the second half of the 2022-23 season. On loan from Atlético Madrid, Félix scored four goals in 20 appearances, showcasing his talent in the Premier League.

His stint at Stamford Bridge was marked by flashes of brilliance but also some inconsistency. Following his Chelsea loan, Félix moved to Barcelona for the 2023-24 season, but his performance there was underwhelming, with 10 goals and six assists in 44 matches. He struggled to make a significant impact, leading to limited game time.

Currently, Félix has returned to Atlético Madrid but has played only once this year and still has five years remaining on his contract. Given his mixed recent performances, Chelsea is considering a potential reunion, especially after their failed attempt to secure Samu Omorodion for £34.5 million.
