The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced to release three big names from the Indian Test team against Bangladesh, being held at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel and Yash Dayal have been taken out of the Indian squad so they they could ensure their participation in the Irani Cup 2024, which is going to be played between Mumbai and the Rest of India.
“Update: Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel and Yash Dayal have been released from India’s Test squad to participate in the #IraniCup, scheduled to commence tomorrow in Lucknow,” wrote BCCI on their official ‘X’ account.
