During the half term break Berkshire Disability Officer Chris Baker supported the Sport Together Berkshire Festival of Inclusivity at Arborfield Green Leisure Centre.

During the day we teamed up with Banshees Wheelchair Sports, Reading Rockets, South Berkshire Hockey and Reading FC in the Community to deliver a day of different activities for people with disabilities. The festival takes place every school holiday and helps break down barriers for young people looking to get into sport and activity. The day was lots of fun with everyone trying each activity. At the end of the day, each participant is given a goodie bag with lots of Sport Together Berkshire items and all the information about inclusive clubs that are available to them.

Looking back on the event Chris commented “It is fantastic for Berkshire Cricket to be a part of Sport Together Berkshire. It provides us an amazing opportunity to showcase how cricket can be a game for everyone. We already cannot wait for the next event”
