A lighthearted pizza debate between Jordynne Grace and Dustin Rhodes has now pulled another wrestling veteran into the conversation.
The situation started when the WWE star shared a photo of a slice of pizza covered in pineapple and pepperoni, proudly declaring her love for the controversial topping combination.
“The best thing I’ve ever eaten.”
AEW veteran Dustin Rhodes quickly pushed back on that opinion, making it clear he didn’t see the slice as legitimate pizza.
“Umm……NO!!!! That ain’t pizza.”
The exchange quickly gained traction among wrestling fans online, reigniting the long-running argument over whether pineapple belongs on pizza. But now the conversation has taken another turn.
In an update, former WWE star and JCW personality Big Vito weighed in after seeing Ringside News’ coverage of the debate. Vito, who often leans into his Italian heritage, made it clear he wasn’t thrilled with the pineapple choice and framed it as an insult to traditional pizza culture.
“As a son of a pizza man, that pineapple is disrespectful to Italian culture! Ms. Grace, huge fan of your work, but not of your pizza toppings. I invite you to my social club for a real pizza, bring your hubby. We’ll have a Sitdown.”
The original post from Grace showed a large slice of pizza topped with generous chunks of pineapple spread across melted cheese and pepperoni. While she clearly loved the combination, Rhodes and now Vito appear firmly planted on the anti-pineapple side of the debate. What started as a simple food post has now evolved into a mini wrestling crossover discussion online, with multiple stars weighing in on one of the internet’s most divisive food topics.

Where do you stand on the pineapple pizza debate? Do you side with Jordynne Grace, or do Dustin Rhodes and Big Vito have it right that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
