The victory marks Pirates’ first title since 2018 and only their third in history, having first lifted the trophy in 2007.
Heathens got off to a strong start, with Norbert Okeny crossing early to put five points on the board, though the conversion drifted wide.
Pirates responded with a penalty before grounding a converted try to take a 10–5 lead into the break.
