Blacklist International was looking to take their revenge for fallen fellow Filipino squad BOOM Esports as they took Alpha Gaming in Day 2 of the Final weekend of KIC 2025. Alpha Gaming came into KIC as the 3rd MKL seed, arguably the most competitive region for Honor of Kings outside of China, so besting them was never going to be an easy task. Blacklist International gave their best try but they were still silenced 4-1 by Alpha Gaming.

Game 1 was once a dominant performance of the bat from star jungler Fang ‘YuLong; Pei. With Chong Han ‘Saber’ Lee’s Zhang Fei and former Homebois BSE player Han ‘Siang’ Lee’s Umbrosa. Squeky clean movements from the Malaysian squad gave them a quick win in the series opener.
Game 2 had Blacklist International go for a jungle Nezha for Justine ‘Juschie’ Tan and Charlotte for Chammy ‘Chammy1’ Nazarrea. Chammy1 found success early on against Siang in the clash lane. But that was the only success that Blacklist International had in Game 2 as YuLong’s Augran was unbreachable bastion that gave Alpha Gaming the 2-0 lead in the series.
For Game 3, it was Blacklist International’s turn to pick up the Augran for Juschie alongside the Zhangfei for Charles ‘Chazz’ Esguerra. Early aggressive plays from Blacklist International gave them a small lead to start Game 3. But Saber’s Lapulapu played the excellent vision game and had good teamfight plays all around with his Raging Sea to swing the game back in Alpha Gaming’s favor.
Blacklist International unleashed the Mai Shiranui for Dragon ‘Dragon’ Dajao and the Lapulapu for Chazz to keep their tournament hopes alive in Game 4. Good rotations from Dragon allowed Blacklist International to take much needed control in the early game with an 8-0 burst. Ong Ee ‘Son’ Son’s Ao’yin needed alot more time to help his team and Blacklist International just suffocated the Malaysians to win Game 4 and extend the series.

Game 5 was Blacklist International banking on the Wang Zhaojun and Liang combo against the Gan & Mo and Sun Ce draft of Alpha Gaming. YuLong’s Ukyo Tachibana found alot of the early kills for Alpha Gaming as well as the first Tyrant. Alpha Gaming continued with their mastery of the PKL teams with an easy close out game against Blacklist International in Game 5.
While Blacklist International were eliminated, achieving a historic Top 4 is still something to be proud of as they showed they can go toe-to-toe against the best HoK Global region, Malaysia.
