BLAST Lands Multi-Year Deal to Operate Brawl Star Esports

International tournament organizer BLAST and Supercell announced Thursday a new partnership to operate a large-scale competitive ecosystem for the mobile action game, Brawl Stars.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed, but BLASt describes it as a multi-year deal.

Under the terms of the deal, BLAST will create and deploy a heavy global events calendar for the game, produce live studio broadcasts and arena shows, and deploy “broadcast innovations” as part of a program featuring an overall prize pool of $2 million USD. BLAST has also committed to 32 broadcast days per year, a new studio environment with an all-new on-air talent line-up, split across six seasons.

Brawl Stars has one of the most passionate, engaged and global fanbases in mobile gaming and is a true global phenomenon for people everywhere,” said BLAST Chief Business Officer Leo Matlock. “We’re thrilled to partner with Supercell to deliver a new competitive entertainment product that matches the game’s incredible energy. This multi-year commitment enables us to innovate around formats, storytelling, standalone live events and broadcast – driving a new era of entertainment for players and fans worldwide. Furthermore, we are excited to enhance the commercial opportunities around Brawl Stars esports for brands, media and destinations to benefit from.”

The Brawl Stars Championship will take place in more than 190 countries and territories with regions divided into the following:

  • EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa)
  • NA (North America)
  • SA (South America)
  • APAC (Asia Pacific)
  • CN (Chinese Mainland)

The top regional teams will qualify for each season’s standalone LAN events, with each competitive year cycle structured around two major splits (Spring and Summer), and each split featuring three months of online play, giving teams more opportunities to climb the ranks and compete on the global stage.

Each split concludes with a LAN Finals event, starting with the Brawl Cup in May 2026. Following the Summer split, a Last Chance Qualifier LAN will offer teams a final shot at making it to the Brawl Stars World Finals.

More details about BLAST’s plans for Brawl Stars esports will come to light in the first few months of 2026. Brawl Stars was previously part of ESL FACEIT Group’s Snapdragon Pro Series, alongside Free Fire, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, EA Sports FC Mobile, Clash of Clans, and Call of Duty Mobile, among others.
