Boxing Scene reports that Brandun Lee appears to be Zuffa Boxing‘s latest signing, and the 30-0 (23 KOs) welterweight is likely to fight once again in the Spring.
A Californian 26-year-old, Lee has fought on the Showtime platform, and appeared, at one stage, a considerable prospect but his career, despite his experience, never seemed to take off with bigger, more meaningful fights, and he’s been away from the ring since June 21, 2025.
But he could return in the coming months, and do so under the Zuffa banner.
Zuffa has made a considerable name for itself despite organizing and hosting four ESPN Tuesday Night Fight or ProBox TV type events, with signings like Jai Opetaia and Conor Benn, and exciting novices like Robert Meriwether III and Jalil Hackett.
The upstart fight firm has considerable backing in boxing as 360 Promotions founder Tom Loeffler, a long-time promoter who developed the careers of Kevin Kelley, the Klitschko brothers, and Gennadiy Golovkin, together with Dana White — who has helped make the UFC into the 800-pound gorilla in the combat sports space — and Nick Khan, a boxing hardcore who is one of the most influential figures at UFC and WWE parent company TKO Group.
Per Boxing Scene, Lee will continue to fight at welterweight and a shot at the Zuffa belt in that weight class is a possibility in the near future. Other welterweight fighters at Zuffa include Benn and Ricardo Salas.
