Veteran India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has announced his retirement from international cricket in the post-match press conference of the Brisbane Test.
The spinner ends his career with a massive 765 wickets, 537 of which came in red-ball cricket. He ends his career as the second-highest wicket-taker in India’s history only behind legendary spinner Anil Kumble.
