Brock Lesnar has opened up about his current WWE run and the balance he maintains between his career and family life.
Speaking on the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast, Lesnar reflected on returning to WWE at this stage of his life and the motivation behind it.
“I’m the old guy now, you know. Sh*t, I went back to work too so I could feed my kids. You guys should see my grocery bill… I had left the company years ago and I’m grateful that I’m back for a short time here. So I’m really grateful for all the opportunities that I’ve had in my life.”
Lesnar also addressed how he handles interactions with fans, particularly when he is spending time with his family.
“When I’m at my kids’ events, I’m just a dad. So I have to draw a line—and I do. I started this years ago: if I’m with my family, absolutely not. I don’t take any pictures, and I’m sorry for that.”
He emphasized the importance of being fully present as a father and husband.
“I appreciate all the fans who have followed me over the years, but I’m a human being. I’m a dad, I’m a husband, and my kids deserve my full attention when I can give it to them.”
Lesnar added that while most fans are understanding, maintaining that boundary is essential to him.
“People are good. Maybe one out of a million isn’t cool with it, but they understand. And I’m so grateful for the people who follow me.”
He concluded by reinforcing that, despite his larger-than-life persona, he values being seen as a regular person.
“But yeah, I don’t want to be dehumanized either—you know what I mean? I’m just another guy who had a dream and passion, and that’s it.”
