The WWE Survivor Series: WarGames main event delivered brutal action and headline-worthy drama — but it also sparked serious concern after a terrifying moment involving Bron Breakker. Thankfully, we now have an update on his condition, and the news is good.
In a post-show update on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer confirmed that Bron Breakker was evaluated backstage — and cleared.
“So then they almost killed Bron Breakker,” Alvarez said. “They tried to Doomsday Device, but he did not flip over, landed right on his neck, thought this guy was dead.”
“He’s fine,” Meltzer replied.
“Yeah, they evaluated him,” Alvarez added.
“They checked him, and he was all right, that’s what they said.”
“I don’t want to say fine, but he’s fine,” Meltzer clarified.
During the early rounds of the brutal WarGames match— which featured CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos battling Bron Breakker, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Brock Lesnar, and Bronson Reed — things got dicey when Breakker took a nasty fall. Cody Rhodes had him on his shoulders as CM Punk hit a clothesline, but Breakker didn’t rotate properly and landed right on his neck.
Despite the nasty scare, Breakker not only returned to the match — he ended it. After a mystery masked man stormed the cage and nailed Punk with a brutal kick and stomp, Breakker hit a devastating spear and pinned the World Heavyweight Champion to seal the win for Team Heyman.
This moment didn’t just cap the night — it likely shaped the road to WrestleMania 42. Breakker is now reportedly lined up to face CM Punk for the title, while Cody Rhodes is once again set to collide with Roman Reigns. So it’s safe to say the road to Vegas just got even more intense.
