As expected, the Buccaneers have re-signed long snapper Evan Deckers prior to the start of free agency.
The news was first reported by Fox Sports’ Greg Auman and confirmed by Pewter Report.
Bucs have re-signed their last exclusive-rights free agent, long-snapper Evan Deckers, who’s handled their snaps the last two seasons. 27-year-old Duke grad will be a restricted free agent next spring.

Evan Deckers Has Been A Bucs Mainstay On Special Teams
Evan Deckers, who was one of two exclusive rights free agents – quarterback Connor Bazelak being the other – was bound to re-sign with the team, as Tampa Bay values his long-snapping at a cost conscience price. Bazelak re-signed with the team on Tuesday.
The 27-year old Duke product made $966,000 last year and is expected to sign a one-year deal worth $1.075 million in 2026. Deckers has been Tampa Bay’s long snapper for the past two years.
