THE LATEST RUMORS/ANALYSIS

UPDATED 3/13 – 6:58 PM ET: Ko Kieft and now Dan Feeney re-signed today – as expected by Pewter Report. Two tough guy gingers back with the Bucs.

UPDATED 3/13 – 2:31 PM ET: Pewter Report can confirm – Ko Kieft is back.

UPDATED 3/13 – 9:50 AM ET: Bucs will turn their attention to CB in FA as they need a pair to replace Jamel Dean & Kindle Vildor on the roster. Two names to keep an eye on are Cleveland’s Martin Emerson (25) & Miami’s Rasul Douglas (30). Both have good size at 6-2. Martin missed 2025 w/Achilles injury.

UPDATED 3/13 – 9:44 AM ET: Bucs signed OLB Al-Quadin Muhammad to a one-year, $4 million deal with $2 million in incentives that can push his total earnings to $6 million. He made $4 million with Detroit last year while recording a career-high 11 sacks. AQM plays with a relentless, high motor.

UPDATED 3/12 – 5:13 PM ET: Pewter Report broke the news on Thursday evening that the Bucs will be signing a pass rusher. Tampa Bay has added Al-Quadin Muhammad, who had 11 sacks with the Lions last season.

UPDATED 3/12 – 4:04 PM ET: Bucs sign a key special teams ace and reserve safety – another Steeler – in Miles Killebrew. Makes sense with Danny Smith now coaching special teams in Tampa Bay and Christian Izien’s departure.

UPDATED 3/12 – 12:11 PM ET: We’ve discussed Lions DL Al-Quadin Muhammad for several days now at @PewterReport and on the Pewter Report Podcasts. Look for the Bucs to try to sign the veteran edge rusher – likely to a one-year deal. 11 sacks last year in Detroit.

UPDATED 3/12 – 8:24 AM ET: Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Bucs re-sign 4 more: Christian Izien – versatile, smart DB, Sterling Shepard – vet WR, Baker Mayfield/locker room fave, Dan Feeney – backup G, fit in OL room well, Ko Kieft – physical TE & core special teamer, maybe LB Lavonte David, too.

UPDATED 3/11 – 7:29 PM ET: Todd Bowles said he wanted “bigger players” this offseason. Mission accomplished with 6-foot-3, 320-pound DT A’Shawn Robinson. Big, powerful run stuffer for the Bucs that can push the pocket vs. the pass with 10 years of experience.

UPDATED 3/11 – 5:49 PM ET: Jake Browning is a solid QB backup for the Bucs. Nice addition. He’ll compete with Connor Bazelak for the No. 2 job behind Baker Mayfield.

UPDATED 3/11 – 5:47 PM ET: Smart move by the Bucs to bring back RB Sean Tucker. Now this RB room is as solid as it was last year with Kenneth Gainwell replacing Rachaad White. Tucker is a big play waiting to happen and proved to be a good goal line back (7 TDs).

UPDATED 3/10 – 7:54 PM ET: Fact. We talked about Al-Quadin Muhammad and his 11 sacks last year on today’s Pewter Report Podcast.
