Carl Froch is not convinced that Jake Paul’s sparring for Anthony Joshua is quite what it appears.
Paul faces Joshua in an eight-round heavyweight professional bout on December 19 in Miami, live on Netflix.
Paul posted a photo on his social media earlier this month of him in camp with heavyweight contenders, Lawrence Okolie, Frank Sanchez and Jared Anderson.
However, former super middleweight champion, Froch admits he has his reservations over whether ‘The Problem Child’ has actually been sparring them.
“They’re not sparring f****ng Jake Paul,” the 48-year-old told gameshub.com.

“They’re moving around with him, touching him up, a little technical bulls**t.
“They’re not sparring him.
“Lawrence Okolie is quite a big puncher. He’s big now.
“Jake Paul is not good enough to spar them.
“Let’s see the footage, let’s see the sparring, then I’ll believe it.”
Paul has won six on the spin since a sole defeat to Tommy Fury, outpointing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in June.
The 28-year-old was scheduled to face Gervonta Davis in an exhibition last month, but the clash was cancelled after Davis was accused of hitting an ex-girlfriend in a civil lawsuit.
Joshua will end a 15-month lay-off when he steps into the ring against the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
The 36-year-old was knocked out by Daniel Dubois last September at Wembley Stadium and was then sidelined with an elbow injury.

And Froch, who is set to be in attendance at the Kaseya Center, remains doubtful whether the Joshua bout will even take place.
“I still don’t believe the AJ-Jake Paul fight is happening,” he added.
“I’m going out there and I’m just intrigued.

“What is going to happen?
“It’s a sanctioned fight. It can’t be fixed.
“It’s a federal offence in America if that’s fixed.
“Every single boxing fan knows that if AJ goes in with Jake Paul and tries, the fight won’t last a minute.”
