CARLOS ADAMES RETAINS HIS WBC MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE
Orlando, Florida (March 22nd, 2026)– Carlos Adames retained his WBC Middleweight Title with a dominant unanimous decision victory over a tough Austin “Ammo” Williams, 29, (20-2, 13 Kos) in Orlando, Florida. Adames, 31, (25-1-1, 18 KOs) who is from Dominican Republic, controlled the bout from the start, scoring a knockdown in the second round and winning by wide scores of 118-108, 117-109, and 117-109.
Adames is known for a 72% knockout rate and high efficiency, connecting with 45.1% of his power punches in his last defense. Adames dominated for much of the fight, landing significant right hands and controlling the pace.
