Hardik Pandya took a sensational running catch to send back Rishad Hossain on the third delivery of the 14th over. It was such a nicely judged catch, and Hardik made it look easy, even though it wasn’t as easy.

Varun Chakravarthy bowled a length delivery, to which the batter tried playing a slog sweep but couldn’t get the required elevation. Hardik immediately sprinted to the left from the deep midwicket region and went with both hands.

While the ball was almost slipping out of his hands, Hardik showed superb reflexes and managed to hold it while going down, even though he was slightly imbalanced. After completing the catch, the momentum was taking him to the boundary, but he ensured to slide horizontally to avoid touching the boundary.

He covered as many as 27 meters within a few seconds and also maintained his balance to avoid any injury after completing the catch, giving India another breakthrough.
