DICE is going to push out a major gameplay update ahead of Battlefield 6 Season 1 content being unlocked on October 28, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This patch is set to address some of the major issues players have had with the game since launch, including a host of movement changes and improvements to lighting. The infamous weapon bloom finds itself on the agenda as well.
Going into Season 1, BF6 players should find their visibility starkly improved thanks to better exposure transitions, interior lighting, and a reduced persistence of smoke and fog. Updates to the UI and additions to the game’s audio library will be included as well.
Update 1.1.1.0 will go live on October 28, 2025, at 5am EDT / 10am CET. Season 1 content will be unlocked later that day, at 11am EDT / 4pm CET.
