Praising Chappell’s Passion:

Chappell was the head coach when Dravid was appointed as the captain of the Indian team. They worked closely during Chappell’s tenure, with the Australian praising Dravid’s passion for Indian cricket. Chappell lauded Dravid for his dedication and commitment, recognizing the significant role he played in leading the team and contributing to its success.

He said, “His passion for Indian cricket has always been plain to see, so for him to have been an integral part of the planning for this win must be particularly satisfying for him. It is a wonderful way for him to finish his time with the team.”
