Charles Oliveira is aware of comments made by Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz following his UFC 326 win.
Oliveira fought Max Holloway for the BMF Championship on Saturday. The bout didn’t go the way many anticipated. Oliveira’s grappling was dominant throughout the fight, and he never allowed “Blessed” to get anything going. Ultimately, “do Bronxs” won the fight via unanimous decision.
McGregor and Diaz took to their X accounts to criticize Oliveira’s performance despite the one-sided victory. Diaz slammed the fight for being “boring,” while McGregor referred to Holloway and Oliveira as “two nerds” fighting for a title that he claims belongs to him.
During the UFC 326 post-fight press conference, Oliveira suggested that he fights McGregor and Diaz in one night to see who will get the last laugh (via MMAFighting).
“I’m actually looking for a title. This is the truth,” Oliveira said. “I want to focus on this fight that will happen at the White House. I’ll definitely be there. The Conor fight, I’ve already said I would do this fight. It could be at 155, at 185, it doesn’t matter, because I would definitely be for a lot of money. Or they can do a Grand Prix. Put both on the same day and let’s see what happens.”
Oliveira is one step closer to getting back in lightweight title contention. He has already held 155-pound gold, but he hopes to begin a second run with a UFC title. Oliveira has now won two fights in a row and he has gone 3-1 in his last four outings.
The lone loss was to Ilia Topuria in a UFC Lightweight Championship bout back in June 2025. Oliveira will wait to see the outcome of the UFC Freedom 250 main event title bout between Topuria and Justin Gaethje. The result could very well decide whether or not Oliveira is fighting for the lightweight gold again anytime soon.
