Chelsea look set to face a tricky task when they visit Premier League leaders Arsenal on Sunday.
The Blues enjoyed a flying start to life under new head coach Liam Rosenior – winning their first four matches in the league – but have since drawn against both Leeds United and Burnley.
Those two results have left the west London giants fifth in the top flight table, and they face a daunting visit to The Emirates to face the Gunners in their next outing.
Ahead of that tie, it appears that Chelsea are one of two Premier League giants interested in a Bundesliga sensation.
According to BILD, via CaughtOffside, both Chelsea and Manchester United are in the race to land Borussia Dortmund star Felix Nmecha this summer.
The report from Germany claims that the two English sides are both keeping tabs on the 25-year-old, who is the younger brother of Leeds United star Lukas.
Nmecha joined Dortmund from fellow German side Wolfsburg back in 2023, having previously spent time with Manchester City’s academy.

He has now made more than 100 appearances for Dortmund across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists.
His impressive displays for Dortmund haven’t gone unnoticed, though, and the report suggests that he is attracting significant interest ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
Dortmund are said to be understandably reluctant to lose the midfielder, and will therefore demand a fee in the region of £60 million to allow him to leave.
Nmecha is under contract at Dortmund until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but it appears that the Bundesliga giants may face a tough task in keeping hold of the Germany international beyond this summer with several of Europe’s top sides showing interest.
