Chelsea welcome relegation-threatened Leeds United to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
The Blues have so far won all four Premier League matches since Liam Rosenior took charge of the club last month, with the Englishman having overseen seven wins from his nine matches in charge across all competitions.
A run of four consecutive league victories has seen the Blues cement their position in fifth place in the top flight table, with the west London outfit having established a four-point lead over sixth-placed Liverpool.
Ahead of the visit of old rivals Leeds on Tuesday, though, it is emerging that Chelsea are interested in one of Europe’s most prolific strikers.
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, via CaughtOffside, both Chelsea and London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are in the race to land Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serbia international’s current contract with the Old Lady is set to expire at the end of the season, and the Serie A giants have so far failed in their attempts to agree an extension with the player.

Vlahovic, 26, joined Juventus from fellow Italian side Fiorentina back in 2022 and has since scored 64 goals in 162 games across all competitions for the club.
It is claimed that both the Blues and the Lilywhites are interested in signing the Serbian attacker this summer, when he is set to be available as a free agent.
The report suggests that Chelsea’s interest in Vlahovic comes amid uncertainty surrounding the future of Liam Delap, who joined the club last summer from Ipswich Town but has since scored just once in the Premier League for his new club.
If the former Manchester City man is allowed to depart Stamford Bridge this summer, the report suggests that Vlahovic would be near the top of the club’s list of potential replacements.
Both Chelsea and Tottenham will also be buoyed by the report’s claim that Vlahovic himself is open to the prospect of a move to the Premier League.
