Chelsea visit Championship side Wrexham in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues have beaten second tier sides Charlton Athletic and Hull City in the competition so far this season, and Liam Rosenior will expect to see his side navigate their way past Wrexham in Wales on Saturday.
Ahead of their trip to Wrexham, it has emerged that the west London outfit are eyeing a sensational move to sign a former Premier League striker.
As per CaughtOffside, Chelsea are considering a move to sign Al-Hilal forward Darwin Nunez.
The report claims that the London giants have identified the Uruguay international as a potential transfer target ahead of the summer transfer window, with those in charge of the club’s recruitment keen to bolster their attacking ranks.
Nunez, 26, joined Al Hilal from Liverpool last summer and has since scored nine goals in 24 games for the Saudi side.

During his time on Merseyside, the Uruguayan registered a combined 66 goals and assists in 143 games for the Reds across all competitions.
The striker was part of the Liverpool squad that won the Premier League table under Arne Slot last term, but he was also criticised for his lack of consistency during his time on Merseyside.
It is claimed that Chelsea have been monitoring the South American attacker, who is keen on the idea of a return to Europe after just one season in the Middle East.
Newcastle United are also said to be interested in the player, who is contracted to Al Hilal until the end of the 2027/28 campaign.
The report suggests that Nunez is increasingly likely to depart Al Hilal this summer, although it is claimed that an initial loan deal could be the most likely solution.
