TNA has officially locked in the closing match for Rebellion 2026, and the company is ending the night with its biggest title on the line.
During the Countdown show, it confirmed that Mike Santana will defend the TNA World Championship against Eddie Edwards in the main event.
That decision puts the spotlight firmly on the company’s top championship to close the show. Santana has been on a strong run as champion, while Edwards earned his opportunity through Feast or Fired and has kept the rivalry heated with attacks leading into the event, including an incident at Sacrifice that escalated tensions between the two.
Earlier in the Countdown broadcast, TNA also confirmed that the TNA X-Division Championship match between Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander will open the show, setting the tone before the night builds toward the World Title clash.
Rebellion 2026 is taking place live from the Wolstein Center, with the Countdown show beginning at 7 PM ET and the main card starting at 8 PM ET on TNA+.
