Yorkshire County Cricket Club confirms that Phillip Hodson is no longer a member of YCCC’s Board.
We are grateful to Phillip for his outstanding commitment to the Club and recognise the significant contribution he has made to cricket over many years, in particular through his work supporting young people from less-privileged backgrounds in Yorkshire, England and around the world to access, enjoy and develop in the game.
However, the Cricket Discipline Panel’s recent decision found that Phillip Hodson breached ECB Regulations. This was not a decision the Board took lightly, and it was unanimous in its view that the outcome was in the best interests of the Club. The Board has a responsibility to uphold Yorkshire’s values and its position as a diverse and inclusive Club where everyone feels welcome.
We thank Phillip for all he has done for Yorkshire and wish him well for the future.
