Cody Rhodes Admits ,000 Price Tag for WrestleMania 42 Bus Tour Package Is ‘Absurd’

Cody Rhodes is finally reacting to the nearly $10,000 WrestleMania 42 bus tour—and even he admits the price is hard to ignore.

After WWE’s premium “American Nightmare” experience drew attention for its $9,950 price tag, Rhodes spoke on Busted Open Radio on March 30, 2026, offering clarity on what fans can expect and how he views the pricing. First, Rhodes explained that this isn’t a brand-new concept, revealing that a version of the tour quietly happened before and gave fans rare access.

“We did this tour last year very quietly. And it’s just a sweet On Location deal for the people that want a little bit of that extra moment. What I did last year was very fun, they got to see my WrestleMania gear in advance and we got to talk WrestleMania,” Rhodes said.

He then directly addressed the biggest talking point — the price — making it clear he understands why it stands out. Rather than justify the cost, Rhodes shifted to what he wants fans to actually take away from the experience, focusing on the personal interaction element.

“I’ve got a good plan for them this year, because like you said, that’s an absurd amount of money. And, gosh, thanks for — the fact that people are out there paying that, that makes me feel incredible. So I want them to definitely feel like they got a unique and cool experience and something intimate for us. Because when you get those moments with your fans where you can sit down across from them and actually get to know them — two of the guys that were on the bus tour last year are actually coming on my podcast.”

The American Nightmare also pointed out that the experience has led to lasting connections beyond WrestleMania week, showing it’s more than just a one-time meet-and-greet.

“I wanted to bring a fan onto the podcast to see what that experience was like. We’ve stayed in touch. So I look forward to a whole new motley crew on the bus this year. And thank you for doing that.”

This reframes the conversation. While the $9,950 price tag is still one of WWE’s most expensive fan offerings, Rhodes is clearly focused on delivering something personal and memorable for those who commit to it.

With WrestleMania 42 approaching and only a limited number of spots available, the question now is whether fans see that level of access as worth the cost — especially with Rhodes himself acknowledging how high the price really is.

Do you think Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania bus tour is worth $9,950 for that kind of access, or is WWE going too far with premium experiences? Drop your thoughts below.
