The February 13 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. This episode also included a hard-hitting match to figure out the next man in the Elimination Chamber match.
A Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier match went down this week. This time it was Zelina Vega vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Giulia. Alexa Bliss went on to win that one. Of course, everyone in that match gave their all to secure a spot in the Elimination Chamber.
The men’s match saw Jacob Fatu, Sami Zayn, and Cody Rhodes throw down in the main event. Everyone had a reason why they wanted to win the match and go on to get an Elimination Chamber spot. In the end, there could only be one winner.
This match had everyone in the building not knowing how it would end. There were a ton of near falls, as each man rushed to break up every pinfall attempt they could. The contest stretched through two commercial breaks, but the action continued in the ring via picture-in-picture.
Eventually, Jacob Fatu got a table out from under the ring. Then he decided against that as Cody Rhodes ran out to fight him. Eventually, Sami and Cody nailed a double top rope suplex on Fatu to keep him down. Then it was Cody and Sami battling it out for a bit. Then Jacob Fatu jumped in to take his competitors out just as Sami was amping up.
Jacob Fatu owned the match for a bit, and Sami Zayn missed a Helluva Kick. Then Sami almost won as he caught Jacob into a small package pin. Suddenly, Rhodes nailed a top rope Cody Cutter. Then Jacob Fatu nailed a moonsault, but Drew McIntyre jumped in the ring and took him out with a Claymore Kick. After that, McIntyre beat Fatu around the ring. Cody hit Drew with a dive to the outside, and then Cody took a bump against the ring post.
Then Drew McIntyre powerbombed Jacob Fatu through the announce table before he got in the ring. Cody Rhodes ate a Claymore Kick and then Drew dragged Sami Zayn onto Cody for the pinfall, but Cody got his shoulder up. Drew was livid and he got back in the ring to beat Cody down. Then Sami nailed a Helluva Kick on Drew before Cody hit a Crossroads on Sami to win the match and secure a spot in the Elimination Chamber.
Randy Orton and LA Knight have already qualified for the Elimination Chamber match. Only time will tell if we’ve seen the winner earn his spot tonight. The 2026 WWE Elimination Chamber is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois
