Throughout spring training, we’ve seen four men audition to join Jack Corrigan as the second radio voice of the Colorado Rockies: Jesse Thomas (producer), Jeff Dooley (Hartford Yard Goats), Josh Suchon (Albuquerque Isotopes), and Zach Goodman (Amarillo Sod Poodles).
We’re still awaiting the results with just three games remaining, but fans were most impressed with Dooley and overwhelmingly believe he will be the one to win the job.
About a quarter of fans believed Goodman — son of Rockies’ TV play-by-play announcer Drew Goodman — would replace Jerry Schemmel, and the remainder think Suchon or Thomas will.
