Commencal Lands Vali Höll for 2026 After YT Pulls Plug on Factory Team

After a chaotic end to the season for YT Industries and its athletes, rumors have been surfacing of Vali Höll, the women’s UCI DH World Champ, moving to a new team, and today we have confirmation that Höll is joining the Commencal / Schwalbe by Les Orres. This is a massive move for Höll and a significant advantage for Commencal Bikes, which already has a star-studded roster on both the Commencal Muc-Off and Schwalbe by Les Orres teams. 2026 isn’t even here yet, and the teams are already set up for success.

While her teammate Andi Kolb found his new home at the Santa Cruz Syndicate, we still don’t have confirmation of where Oisin O’Callaghan will end up, but the rumors point to Trek Factory Racing.

Höll is joining the Commencal Schwalbe by Les Orres team, and will be riding alongside Lisa Baumann, Bode Burke, Antoine Pierron, Austin Dooley, Matilda Melton, and Jack Piercy for 2026. However, it is still early in the season for a final roster to be set, and the team will drop the full rider lineup sometime in January.

“I’m incredibly excited to become part of such a renowned racing family. It was a pleasant surprise, but I firmly believe that every closed door opens a new opportunity,” Höll said about signing with Commencal. “Working with COMMENCAL has always been a dream of mine; their racing spirit is unmatched. I look forward to continuing my legacy in the downhill world on a COMMENCAL bike. The moment I first rode one, I was astonished by how planted and stable it felt, yet still playful when required.”

This news comes on the same day as Höll celebrates her birthday this year, and I can’t think of a more fitting gift than signing to a team that won’t leave the World Champ hanging in the final hour. Happy Birthday, Vali!
