fl0m’s Mythical LAN is an offline Counter-Strike 2 tournament, organised by fl0m and Monster Energy. It’s all going down in Las Vegas, USA and the venue is the HyperX Esports Arena. The action kicks off on January 9th, 2026 and runs until the 11th of January. 8 teams are going to compete for a 30K USD prize. The official map pool has Ancient, Dust II, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass and Train all on the menu.
Tournament structure
The tournament format is broken down into two principal phases; the Group Stage and the Playoffs. In the Group Stage, the eight teams will be divided into two, as four teams will be chosen in a group. Both tournaments are in the format of a double-elimination, also called the GSL format. This insinuates that it takes on two occasions before a team is kicked out of the group.
Every match in the Group Stage is made in the form of the best of three, which gives the teams an opportunity to demonstrate their stability and good performance. At the close of this phase, the two teams with the highest ratings in each committee proceed to the Playoffs.
The Playoffs involve a single elimination bracket, whereby one loss eliminates one from the tournament. Just like the Group Stage, every Playoff match is also presented in the form of a best-of-three. Such a format pressurises the teams and makes each game highly significant, in which not more than one team can be declared the champion.
The overall prize money of 30K USD will be divided between the teams that participate. The 12.5K USD will go to the first-place team and the second-place team will win 7K USD. Teams that complete in third and fourth places will each get 3K USD. The fifth and sixth place teams would make 1250 USD each and the seventh and the 8th place teams would make 1K USD apiece.
