talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan has labelled Conor Benn “ridiculous” after he clashed with Shakur Stevenson following his win over Teofimo Lopez on Saturday in New York.
Stevenson called out Benn following his dominant points victory over Lopez at Madison Square Garden to win the WBO super lightweight world title and become a four-weight world champion.
“There’s a fighter in here right now and he motivated me too,” the 28-year-old said.
“Where’s Conor Benn?
“We could get it banging boy.
“I want that same rehydration clause that you put on [Chris] Eubank Jr and I want to fight.”
Benn, coming off a career-best win over Eubank Jr in their November rematch, entered the ring and had a heated exchange with the American.
‘The Destroyer’ has revealed his intentions to return to welterweight following two bouts at middleweight against Eubank Jr and Jordan has questioned why he is being spoken about alongside Stevenson.

“I don’t think he’s in that class,” Jordan said on talkSPORT.
“I think it’s ridiculous calling out a 135 fighter that’s just stepped up to 140 and beaten Teofimo Lopez into a conversation, but it’s great publicity for Conor.
“I’d like to see Conor get in the ring and fight people like [IBF welterweight champion] Lewis Crocker.

“Or get in the ring and fight people like [IBF super welterweight champion] Josh Kelly rather than autograph hunting.”
The 29-year-old is the mandatory challenger to Mario Barrios’ WBC welterweight crown.
Benn is set to be ringside for Barrios’ bout with Ryan Garcia on February 21 in Las Vegas.
The Brit went head-to-head with WBA welterweight titlist, Rolly Romero at ringside and the American could also be an option for May.
Romero overcame Garcia to win the WBA ‘regular’ title at Times Square last May, before being elevated to full WBA champion in August.
