Conor Benn vs. Regis Prograis Added to Tyson Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov Undercard on April 11

Zuffa Boxing’s Conor Benn will take on Regis Prograis at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the co-main event for Tyson Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11 to be streamed live on Netflix.

Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) rocked the boxing world when leaving Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing to sign a reported $15 million one-fight deal with Dana White’s ambitious boxing project earlier this week.

“April 11th can’t come soon enough, returning to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again, where I made history against Eubank Jr means everything to me,” Benn said. “My last fight there showed the world exactly who I am and what I’m about. Fighting on the biggest stages, in the biggest shows, I fear no one! I’m fully locked in and ready to deliver another statement performance.”

Former super lightweight world champion Progais (30-3, 24 KOs) will be coming to England to upset the applecart. The 37-year-old southpaw broke a two-fight losing streak with a unanimous decision victory against Joseph Diaz last August.

“Last time I fought in London, Conor Benn was on my undercard, so this is a full-circle moment for me,” Prograis said. “But this circle will close with me teaching him a lesson on April 11th. He’s not fighting some weight-drained super middleweight. I am in shape and will bring home this victory.”

TKO Group Holdings president Mark Shapiro announced yesterday that Zuffa will be promoting the Fury-Makhmudov event in the English capital, which adds more intrigue to the promotion due to the news breaking that Queensberry’s Frank Warren will reportedly pursue a $1 billion lawsuit against Turki Alalshikh’s financed Zuffa Boxing parent company TKO and Sela.
