Conor Benn vs Regis Prograis – Weigh In Results

Conor Benn weighed in slightly heavier than Regis Prograis ahead of their showdown on Saturday.

Benn faces Prograis in a 150 pound catchweight clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s return against Arslanbek Makhmudov, live on Netflix.

Benn is working his way back down to 147 pounds after two bouts with Chris Eubank Jr at middleweight last year and tipped the scales at 149.6lbs at Friday’s official weigh in.

The 29-year-old came in over eight pounds lighter than the 167.25lbs he weighed against Eubank Jr in November, a bout he won by unanimous decision after suffering a first professional defeat to the Brighton man seven months prior.

The Brit was over a pound heavier than Prograis, who scaled at 148.1lbs.

The former two-time super lightweight world champion came in over six pounds heavier than he weighed for his last outing, a unanimous decision victory over Jo Jo Diaz in August.

“Well under [150 pounds],” Benn said after weighing in.

“I should have made 147.”

The pair will come face-to-face for the final time at the ceremonial weigh in at the Pelligon in London at 6pm BST.

Elsewhere, British heavyweight champion, Jeamie TKV outweighed Richard Riakporhe by almost 30 pounds, with TKV tipping the scales at 262.7lbs, while former cruiserweight world title challenger, Riakporhe weighed 234lbs.

Ahead of their crossroads heavyweight clash, Frazer Clarke came in 15 pounds heavier than Justin Huni at 259lbs.

Fury and Makhmudov are yet to weigh in, but will hit the scales from 6pm BST at the Pelligon later on Friday.

Fury fights for the first time since announcing his comeback earlier this year, having retired last January following back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.

The 37-year-old promised a destructive win over the Russian, who overcame Dave Allen in October.

“I feel sorry for Aslanbek Makhmudov,” Fury said during Thursday’s final press conference.

“I’m going to make an example of him.

“I’ll knock his head right off his two shoulders.

“I’m ready to rock and roll.”
