Coventry Rugby Community Foundation is delighted to announce a new partnership with Octopus Energy, strengthening its mission to deliver life-changing community programmes across Coventry and the surrounding region.
The Foundation, the charitable arm of Coventry Rugby, works in close partnership with the club to support schools, families, and local communities. From holiday support for low-income households, to reading programmes in schools, the Foundation is expanding its reach far beyond the rugby pitch.
With the backing of Octopus Energy, the Foundation will be able to expand its programmes, using sport as a powerful tool to promote inclusion, boost confidence, improve mental and physical wellbeing, and open up new opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.
John Edwards, Chairman of Coventry Rugby Community Foundation, said:
“We are thrilled to be supported by Octopus Energy. Their commitment to community values aligns closely with our own, and this support will help us continue making a real difference across Coventry.”
Gemma McCubbin, Operations Manager at Octopus Energy said:
“At Octopus, we believe strong communities are built when people are given the chance to thrive. Coventry Rugby Foundation does exactly that – creating safe, supportive spaces where people can grow in confidence and ambition.
“We’re excited to support the Coventry Rugby Community Foundation in their mission to bring energy, opportunity, and optimism into the heart of the community through sport.”
