Caribbean Premier League: The CPL 2024 all teams squads were confirmed after the player draft earlier in July. Kyle Mayers was drafted first and joined St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots. He joins Mikyle Louis, Ryan John, and Veerasammy Permaul.
The Saint Lucia Kings have handed a welcome call-up to USA international Aaron Jones, who is qualified to play as a local player at the CPL due to his Barbados passport. The Kings chose Khari Campbell, Johann Jeremiah, Mikkel Govia, and Akeem Auguste.
The Barbados Royals have signed Kadeem Alleyne, Isai Thorne, and Nathan Sealy to round out their squad. Guyana Amazon Warriors have also signed all-rounders Raymon Reifer and Ronaldo Alimohamed, with Matthew Nandu also making a return to the team.
Antigua & Barbuda Falcons had selected five players in the draft, which included Roshon Primus, Justin Greaves, Jahmar Hamilton, Teddy Bishop, and Kofi James.
The Trinbago Knight Riders announced their emerging players Nathan Edward and Shaquere Parris. Notably, the 2024 season will start on August 29, as the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons take on the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium. Other stops include St Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, and Guyana.
