Crimson Desert System Requirements and Performance Specs

Crimson Desert is one of 2026’s most anticipated titles and, with just a few days left until launch, publisher and developer Pearl Abyss has shared details about its system requirements and performance specs, confirming some of our fears.

Crimson Desert’s sprawling open world and plethora of activities always painted it as an extremely ambitious project, and its system requirements confirm that we will need powerful hardware if we plan on squeezing every bit of detail out of the continent of Pywel.

Crimson Desert System Requirements and Performance Specs

On PC, the humble Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060/AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT in tandem with an Intel i5-8500/AMD Ryzen 5 2600X should allow us to play on the lowest of settings at 30 FPS.

Playing on medium settings using a 1080p resolution at 60 FPS or 4K at 30 FPS requires an Nvidia GeForce GTX 2080/AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT in tandem with an Intel i5-11600K/AMD Ryzen 5 5600.

Crimson Desert’s system requirements include hardware that sits in significantly pricier territory when we’re discussing playing in 4K at 60 FPS with all details set to Ultra. To pull that off, we’ll have to rock an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti /AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT in tandem with an Intel i5-13600K/AMD Ryzen 7 7700X.

RAM-wise, we should be good with 16 GB, but we will have to free 150 GB on our SSDs, which isn’t that surprising given the size of the game and the fact that it boasts a sprawling open world that we can approach however we wish.

Pearl Abyss has also shared console performance specs for Crimson Desert, detailing the differences between the base PS5 and PS5 Pro alongside the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles.

Not only that, but it also addressed the ROG Xbox Ally and Mac, in a surprisingly thorough effort to provide a clear picture of how well the game will run on multiple setups. You can find them all in our article covering Crimson Desert in-depth.
