Last night’s Elimination Chamber PLE featured the long-anticipated reveal of who (or what) was in the crate. After Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis pried open the crate, they uncovered a coffin. This led to a dance number that kicked off the debut of Danhausen in WWE! Danhausen’s WWE debut has been a long time coming, as the star has been benched by AEW for almost two years. What made this moment even more special for the very nice, very evil Superstar was that Danhausen’s wife was a part of the show!
Danhausen’s Wife Choreographed Dancers for WWE Debut
Just 24 hours after his AEW release, Danhausen had one of the most memorable WWE debuts in history. The former Hookhausen member arrived in Chicago, appearing from a coffin within a crate.
However, Danhuasen didn’t come alone. The teeth-wielding phenomenon was flanked by a handful of dancers with faces painted like his. They had a very on-brand dance to accompany the new WWE Superstar, as he proclaimed, “You are cursed!”
Danhausen’s dancers really added to the spectacle, giving the WWE Universe a glimpse into the kooky universe that is Danhausen. Their campy, horror movie-esque moves were the brainchild of Danhuasen’s wife.

Who Is Danhausen’s Wife?
Danhausen’s wife made her WWE debut last night as one of the main Dancehausens. In fact, she was the person who choreographed the troupe to accompany her husband.
As she shared:
Danhausen is married to Lauren Jiles, a professional burlesque dancer who goes by the stage name of Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière. Lou Lou is an accomplished dancer, earning the 2022 Miss Exotic World. In burlesque dancing, this is considered the equivalent of Hall of Fame honors.
Will Lou Lou Join Danhausen on WWE TV?
The pair got married in 2018, with Danhausen becoming a stepfather to Lou Lou’s daughter. In addition, the Danhausens recently welcomed baby Victor to the family. Lou Lou shared a snap of her husband and son earlier in the day, throwing people off the scent of Danhausen being in the crate.
It’s unknown if Lou Lou will join Danhausen on television. It’s not unheard of for wrestling couples to travel as a family unit. Cody and Brandi Rhodes used to, before Brandi settled down her yoga studio.
Meanwhile, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins travel with their daughter while both are active members on the roster. In fact, 24 hours after one of the masked men was revealed, another one was at Elimination Chamber.
However, this time, the unmasked, unnamed talent helped sneak a third masked man into the Elimination Chamber. Seth Rollins made his return to cost Logan Paul the Elimination Chamber.
Danhausen Gets Booed in WWE Debut
While Danhausen is a close friend of CM Punk, the new WWE member might not have many friends in Chicago. While his emergence from the crate did generate a loud pop, the cheers eventually got outnumbered by boos.
Chicago is known to be one of the more vocal crowds in pro wrestling. They don’t tend to enjoy sports entertainment, butdo have an appreciation for independent wrestling. Danahusen is the best of both worlds, which can be a blessing or a curse to a Chicago wrestling fan.
That said, some are saying the boos aren’t necessarily geared toward Danhausen himself. Instead, many were disappointed that the crate reveal wasn’t Chris Jericho. Like many other former AEW talents, it’s believed that Chris Jericho is still being held to his contract due to time being added on.
Others are saying that Chicago booed Danhausen because they were underwhelmed that it was just a dance number. Some in the crowd were expecting to see him wrestle. So, the arena going black threw some in attendance off, causing them to boo.
Either way, it will be interesting to see how they use Danhausen going forward. Many are speculating on future segments between Danhausen and R-Truth.
