Tonight marks the premiere of TNA Impact on AMC, and what better way to kick it off than with some Knockouts gold on the line and new surprises.
We’ve got some former Divas in the house for the premiere as Candice Michelle appears alongside Mara Sadé, and they get into a little predicament with Ryan Nemeth interrupting the cast of Darkwinds.
Santino Marella announces that he needs some help with all the new changes in TNA. And out of the blue, Daria Rae, formerly known as WWE’s Sonya Deville, makes her TNA debut. Rae is happily excited to take on a new leadership role, but is quick to turn on Marella and acts like we all knew she would. She demands structure and power, now that she has “The Suit” in TNA.
Rae also says she’s signed a new Knockout in TNA, and welcomes Elayna Black, formerly WWE’s Cora Jade, back to the Impact Zone.
The IInspiration is set to defend their TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships against The Elegance Brand tonight. The former champions have been focused on finding their next Mr. Elegance. But can they focus just enough to reclaim the gold that was once theirs?
The Elegance Brand has a special guest for the AMC premiere, and it’s…Perez Hilton. Dallas isn’t having any of their antics, but they decide to unveil their Mr. Elegance. Coming to save the day is The IInspiration as their championship match gets underway.
Keeping a close eye on this matchup are NXT’s Sol Ruca and Zaria, as Jessie McKay fires up on The Elegance Brand. George Iceman tries to ruin McKay’s momentum, and the shenanigans get the best of her. Cassie Lee saves McKay from getting in more trouble, and Mr. Elegance eats some slaps for his own good. Iceman gets knocked, but Mr. Elegance gets his revenge as M By Elegance gets the rollup to regain the tag titles. The Elegance Brand is back on top of the tag division, with more numbers on their side.
Indi Hartwell is here and feels like she is in limbo, but is soon interrupted once again by The Elegance Brand. Iceman pushes her buttons and says that if she wants to put up a fight, she has to go through Marella. Hartwell is more than determined to make that happen.
This Saturday at TNA Genesis, the TNA Knockouts World Champion, Lei Ying Lee, was set to defend her title against Dani Luna. Along her side is none other than her Angel Warriors partner, Xia Brookside.
Due to some visa issues, Luna cannot compete this Saturday at Genesis, and now, Lee issues an open challenge for her title. To answer the call is Zaruca, whom we saw earlier tonight. Among them, Ruca says that Zaria is another warrior deserving to become the new Knockouts champion. Zaria signs the dotted line and shakes hands with the champ.
