Former Australia cricketer David Warner shared his wishes with his Indian fans on the special occasion of Chhath Puja with a heartfelt post on his official Instagram account.
“Wishing A very Happy Chhath Puja India….,” Warner wrote in the Instagram post.
Warner may have announced his retirement from international cricket earlier this year, however he still continues to claim that he is available for the team whenever they need him.
“My comment was only if my phone rang and they called me and if they asked. (In that case) you’re not going to say no. You’re not going to turn down a game for Australia. I think a lot of it got taken out of context by some people but it is what it is. If I was to get a call, why wouldn’t I say yes?” Warner recently said.
There are chances that he will feature for the Baggy Greens in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is scheduled to be held in Pakistan.
