Deepak Chahar sledges MS Dhoni in CSK vs MI clash, gets beaten with bat

Mumbai Indians pacer Deepak Chahar had a decent outing with bat and ball in the game against Chennai Super Kings. The third game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday (23rd March).

Deepak Chahar, who made his debut for Mumbai Indians, came up with an all-around effort against his old team. The India star was spot-on with his bat and ball as he made sure that the Suryakumar Yadav-led side was in the game in both innings of the game.

While his performance with bat and ball was one for everyone to applaud, Deepak Chahar also came up with an eye-catching moment in the field. The pace-bowling all-rounder was seen sledging Chennai Super Kings player MS Dhoni as he walked out to bat late in the innings.

MS Dhoni walked out to bat in the 19th over when Chennai Super Kings lost the wicket of Ravindra Jadeja. The keeper-batter received a huge reception from the crowd, who chanted his name loudly as the keeper-batter was seen walking towards the field.

As MS Dhoni walked out to bat, Deepak Chahar was seen saying something to the batter. The pacer was seen clapping in front of the keeper-batsman. The duo then were engaged in a hilarious moment as well after the match ended. As the players were shaking hands, the CSK player hit the MI star with the bat.
