Delhi Capitals have revealed their new jersey for IPL 2026, drawing inspiration from the fierce tiger spirit that reflects both the team and the city of Delhi.
The new design keeps the classic blue and red colours, but adds a bold theme that stands for aggression, pride, and unity ahead of the new season.
The launch campaign stood out as it featured both team captains, Axar Patel from the men’s side and Jemimah Rodrigues from the women’s team.
This move highlights the franchise’s focus on building one strong identity across both squads, something rarely seen in IPL campaigns so far.
Delhi Capitals CEO Sunil Gupta said, “This jersey celebrates our city, identity and the fearless mindset we bring to the field.”
He added, “We are proud to feature Jemimah Rodrigues as it reflects our commitment to a unified Delhi Capitals culture across teams.”
Axar Patel will continue as the full-time captain for the second straight season, leading a side that is still chasing its first IPL title.
The team will begin their IPL 2026 campaign on April 1 against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow in a night game.
Their first home match will be on April 4, where they face Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Strong Squad for The New Season
Delhi Capitals have built a strong squad with a mix of experienced stars and young players for IPL 2026.
