Tottenham lost 3-0 to Nottingham Forest on Sunday in the Premier League, in a crucial match for staying in the top division.
After the game, interim head coach Igor Tudor did not attend the news conference, sparking controversy given his uncertain status at the club. However, the Croatian coach did not fulfill his media duties “after being informed of an immediate family bereavement,” according to talkSPORT.
Assistant coach Bruno Saltor took his place and explained that “it is not the right time” for Tudor to speak.
Tottenham lost to Forest on goals by Igor Jesus, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Taiwo Awoniyi. The result sent Nottingham Forest to 16th place in the league standings with 32 points after 31 games. Spurs fell to 17th place, one spot above the relegation zone, with 30 points after 31 matches.

Benefiting from West Ham United’s loss to Aston Villa, the north London team, eliminated in the round of 16 of the 2026 Champions League by Atletico Madrid, extended its poor run of form.
Before halftime, the visitors took the lead through a goal by Brazilian Igor Jesus, who scored unmarked at the far post from a corner kick taken by Neco Williams.
After the restart, Forest struck again following a great individual play by Callum Hudson-Odoi that was finished by Morgan Gibbs-White.
In the final moments of the match, Taiwo Awoniyi scored the third goal to the astonishment of the home crowd, who loudly booed their own team.
