UFC featherweight Diego Lopes has sent a classy message to Alexander Volkanovski in the wake of his loss at UFC 325.
Last night at UFC 325, Diego Lopes had his second shot at winning the UFC featherweight championship when he took on Alexander Volkanovski in the main event of the evening. Unfortunately, he once again fell short of the mark, leaving many to wonder what exactly is going to be next for him at 145 pounds.

There’s no denying that Lopes is an incredibly talented fighter, but in equal measure, he’s clearly a step or two behind someone like Volkanovski. He’s young enough to go back to the drawing board and make the necessary adjustments, and if he can do that, there are lots of interesting fights on the table.
In a quick tweet after the event, Lopes had the following to say to Volkanovski.

Diego understands that he was going up against one of the greatest featherweights of all time, but there were definitely some things he could’ve changed based on what he did in the first fight. As for ‘The Great’, he will move on to face the likes of Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy – depending on what the UFC wants to do.
