Diego Pacheco vs Kevin Lele Sadjo – Big Fight Preview & Predictions

The old adage that someone’s ‘0’ has got to go heads a card at Stockton Arena in California this Saturday, as Diego Pacheco defends his WBO International super middleweight title, and looks to add the vacant WBC Silver bauble, as he meets Kevin Lele Sadjo over a scheduled 12 rounds.

Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom promote Pacheco vs Sadjo and DAZN televise live worldwide.

Pacheco (24-0, 18 KOs) has been at championship-distance level for some time now, and won the fringe WBO title he defends this weekend by stopping Jack Cullen in Liverpool in March 2023.

The 24-year-old American has since defended six times, moving up to 12-round level at the end of 2023 with a thrilling ninth-round knockout of Marcelo Coceres, and after outscoring Shawn McCalman over ten last April, he knocked out Macej Sulecki in six.

His two outings in 2025 have both gone the duration, as he widely won on the cards against Steven Nelson in January, before doing the same against Trevor McCumby in July.

Sadjo (26-0, 23 KOs) comes next for the Los Angeles man and ‘The Punisher’ also holds a win over Jack Cullen, halting his opponent in six to win the vacant European title in December 2021.

The 35-year-old Frenchman won six on the spin in his home country before venturing to the Bahamas at the end of 2024, and then Equatorial Guinea in May, knocking out Habib Ahmed in three rounds.

Sadjo was last out in August, forcing Martin Ezequiel Bulacio to retire after four rounds.

Prediction: Pacheco will be tested by the tough Sadjo here, but he should have enough to take a clear win on the scorecards.

Flores Jr clashes with Cordina

The vacant WBO International lightweight title is on the line on the undercard, as Gabriel Flores Jr takes on former world champion, Joe Cordina.

Flores (27-2, 8 KOs) has won six straight bouts since losing to Giovanni Cabrera in 2022, the last a wide points win against Christian Arriola in June.

Cordina (18-1, 9 KOs) spectacularly became IBF super featherweight champion in 2022 with a knockout of Kenichi Ogawa, and defended twice before coming unstuck via eighth-round stoppage against IBO boss Anthony Cacace last May.

The 34-year-old returned at lightweight in July, taking the WBO Global belt with a landslide points win against Jaret Gonzalez.

The winner will put themselves in line for a shot at WBO champion, Abdullah Mason.

Prediction: This is a cracking looking match-up, but I lean towards a rejuvenated Cordina to get the job done on points.

Nicolson returns

In ten-rounders, Skye Nicholson vies for the vacant interim WBC super featherweight title when she faces Yulihan Luna Avila.

Nicolson (14-1, 3 KOs) has won two on the bounce since moving down in weight after losing her WBC featherweight title to Tiara Brown in a shock defeat last March.

Avila (28-4-1, 4 KOs) previously held the WBC title before losing it to Dina Thorslund in September 2023.

Prediction: Nicolson can take a points victory.

Remaining Undercard

Ernesto Mercado (17-0, 16 KOs) can rip away the vacant WBO International super lightweight title with an early win against Antonio Moran (31-7-1, 21 KOs).

Arturo Popoca (16-0-1, 9 KOs) should defend his WBC Continental Americas super bantamweight title with a points win against Cesar Vaca Espinoza (19-2-1, 12 KOs).

Cheavon Clarke (10-2, 7 KOs) returns to eight-round level after back-to-back losses, and the cruiserweight should be able to halt Anthony Hollaway (9-9-3, 7 KOs).

Sachery Sam (4-0, 2 KOs) should stop Brandon Medina Guerrero (7-3) in their featherweight six-rounder, and lightweight novice, Cesar Olvera (1-0, 1 KO) can outscore Victor Saravia (1-6-2, 1 KO).
