The Los Angeles Dodgers are coming off their second straight World Series championship and are beginning the trek to a three-peat.
In their mission to become the first team to three-peat since the New York Yankees (1998-2000), the Dodgers are bringing back World Series hero Miguel Rojas to help in those efforts.
According to Daniel Alvarez-Montes of El Extrabase, it’s a one-year deal worth $5.5 million and will be the final season of Rojas’ career in baseball as an active player. He will continue with the Dodgers beyond next season as a member of their player-development department.
In four seasons with the Dodgers, Rojas (soon to be 37) has batted .248 and had an OPS of .656 in 426 games.
