Monday Night Football in Week 15 of the 2025 NFL campaign is a showdown between the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers in the Steel City. Somewhat surprisingly, the matchup is a big one between two teams that are still in the AFC playoff picture this late in the season. Miami has won four games in a row to reach 6-7, while Pittsburgh leads the AFC North at 7-6.

Let’s dive into my Dolphins vs. Steelers predictions.

Miami Dolphins vs. Pittsburgh Steelers odds

Money line: Dolphins +154 / Steelers -184
Spread: Dolphins +3 (-110) / Steelers -3 (-110)
Total: Over 42.5 (-110) / Under 42.5 (-110)

Miami Dolphins vs. Pittsburgh Steelers best bet #1: Under 42.5 (-110)

Pittsburgh is atop the AFC North because it’s a terrible division — not really because of its own merit. And it’s certainly not because the Steelers’ offense is some kind of juggernaut. With a 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, the Steelers rank 27th league wide in total offense and a modest 14th in scoring (23.7 points per game). Pittsburgh has lost five of its last eight contests and in its last two setbacks it has scored 10 points or fewer. The Dolphins are not any better. Head coach Mike McDaniel’s squad is No. 25 in total offense, No. 27 in passing, and No. 21 in scoring (21.6 ppg).

Although it will be clear in Pittsburgh on Monday, it will also be freezing. Conditions won’t exactly be ideal for offense — and especially not for passing. Even in the most benign conditions, moving the ball is not exactly a routine endeavor for either one of these teams. Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa has thrown 14 interceptions in 2025, a number that is almost as high as his touchdown count (18). The left-hander will probably be under pressure, too, against a Steelers defense that is ninth in the league with 36 sacks. If
If the Dolphins are going to be productive at all offensively, success will probably come on the ground. They have rushed for 197, 169, 164, and 239 yards over their last four outings. If the visitors manage to go on some scoring drives, expect them to be be run-heavy slogs that keep the clock moving and minimize the game’s overall possession count.

The under is 4-0 in the Miami’s last four overall, 3-1 in Pittsburgh’s last four at home, and 4-0 in the last four head-to-head meetings.

Miami Dolphins vs. Pittsburgh Steelers best player prop bet: De’Von Achane Over 79.5 rushing yards (-114)

Achane is good to go for Monday despite having dealt with a minor rib problem last week. He left this past Sunday’s victory over the Jets early, but that was just a precautionary move during a game that was a complete blowout. There is no reason to think that the Texas A&M product will be anything less than 100 percent for this one. Speaking of that Jets game, Miami completely dominated the line of scrimmage and churned out 239 rushing yards. Achane delivered 92 of those on only seven carries. He was well on his way to what would have been his fourth straight performance with more than 100 yards on the ground. The Missouri City, Texas native has gained least 120 yards in three of the last four outings and in four of the last eight. of the last 4 games and in 4 of the last 8.

The Steelers are decent defensively, but they certainly aren’t anything special against the run. Head coach Mike Tomlin’s team is giving up 125.3 rushing yards per game on 4.4 yards per carry in addition to 10 TDs on the ground. Count on Achane having a big day all around.
