Rey Mysterio has been etched in the history books of professional wrestling as one of the greatest luchadors. However, a top RAW star has laid down the ultimatum for Mysterio if he wishes to seek forgiveness from him and became close to him again.
Which RAW star called out Rey Mysterio if he wanted forgiveness?
On the recent edition of the Cheap Heat Podcast, Rey Mysterio’s estranged son and now-heated rival, Dominik Mysterio, had heated words for his father and responded to if he would ever stop calling him a deadbeat dad. Dominik stated that Rey would have to get down on his knees and seek an apology. Furthermore, he would have to unmask himself, hand it over to Dominik, and proclaim the ‘Dirty ‘ One as the greatest Mysterio ever so that he could carry on that legacy.
“He [Rey Mysterio] would have to publicly get on his knees in the middle of the ring in front of me, take off his mask; unmask himself willingly, hand it to me like he’s presenting it to me like some sort of offering and declaring that I’m the greatest Mysterio of all time. And, as he gives it to me, he’ll get down and bow to me. I’ll take them mask and obviously carry on the legacy as the greatest Mysterio ever.”
Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio met once again in a heated exchange on this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. They squared off in a tag team match, pitting Rey’s LWO against the new Judgment Day. While Dominik’s hatred for his father is not slowing down anytime soon, he has a major task ahead of him.
Dominik Mysterio, alongside his new girlfriend, Liv Morgan, is set to face his former Mami, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest at WWE’s next Premium Live Event, Bash in Berlin. So we will have to wait and see if Rey Mysterio would do as Dominik wants in an attempt to work out things between himself and his son.
