Multiple streets in downtown Boston were closed Monday evening due to major water main breaks, according to police.
Roadways near Tufts Medical Center and the entrance to I-93 were closed until further notice beginning at 4:40 p.m., according to Boston police. Kneeland Street is closed between Washington and Hudson Streets. Kneeland Street was also shut down at its intersections with Surface Road and Harrison Avenue.
